Before Thanksgiving is too distant a memory, we want to take time to thank to everyone who came out to the CUSTODIAN EP release at Birds Barbershop. The show was a great success. As always, CUSTODIAN rocked the barbershop and brought the arty party like no one else. Leah Ross was on hand filming the E.A.S.T. happening…stay tuned for the sure-to-be-awesome recap. Old friends turned up to dance, drink, and lend a hand. We made a few new ones, some of whom started a fantastic (albeit unexpected) conga line. To all those who came out, we are truly grateful for your support! Stayed tuned for more awesomeness from Artifact Workshop and friends.

Listen up! The album release of Ultra-Fresh by CUSTODIAN Is happening this Saturday November 21st at the Birds Barbershop on East 6th! Here, you will be treated to the East Austin Studio Tour artwork, hot toonz from DJ Andy (the Mouth) and lastly a clean and fresh performance from the guests of honor: CUSTODIAN. Lonestar Beer will be out in full effect making sure everyone is having a grand ol time but it is pretty hard to go to an event at Austin institution Birds Barbershop and not walk away with a giant grin on your face. This will be the first time the limited edition janitorial soapboxes containing a CD in them (along with a few other surprises) will be for sale. Our logic is that since the music that CUSTODIAN makes comes as a re-purposing puree of other materials , the packaging should be no different. The box will be hand numbered and be extremely limited edition making it a fine addition to any collection. Or it could rest beneath your kitchen sink.
