It has been an exciting and busy chunk of time for Artifact Workshop the past several months. We put out a soapbox full of boom-bap with CUSTODIAN in November, a slap bracelet full of electro-fun(k) with Neiliyo in February and now we are pleased to announce our fifth overall release will be coming  from DJ Car Stereo (Wars)! The AW launch party back in August of 2007 doubled as the release party for the first DJ CS(W) release the Bandit, a record that garnered attention from Absolute Punk, Gorilla Vs. Bear, StereoGum and MORE. We are currently working hard on making the next installment in the mashup artist’s discography as great as it can possibly be; more details to come but know this for now: It will be titled Explains it All, and will have an epic release party at the Beauty Bar in Austin TX April 23rd with live performances by Neiliyo, the nation’s premiere LCD Sound System tribute band All My Friends, Hot Britches, and of course DJ CS(W)!
